JOC's Education and Archives

Judith Ortiz Cofer attended Augusta College (now known as Augusta University) and received her Bachleor's of Arts in English Literature. She then went on to receive her M.A. in English from Florida Atlantic University. She instructed at multiple institutions, such as the University of Miami and the University of Georgia, where she was the Franklin Professor of English and Creative Writing.
